36 years ago today, I began in Switching R&D,
Developing embedded software for ITI BLR,
Building Proprietary switching systems, voice, and data,
A world-class vision, and execution, were so great!

My mentors and colleagues, highly competent and sincere,
Shaped my thinking and approach, oh dear,
Complex interconnected distributed systems we solved,
Thanks to what I learned and practiced; my career evolved!
